
In a historic ceremony, the Ogun State Government officially presented the Staff of Office to two newly installed traditional rulers in Ijebu Igbo. The recipients were Oba Tajudeen Kolawole Adesijibomi Omotayo, Olumope of Imope land, Ijebu Igbo, and Oba (Prof.) Benedict, Alapariki of Aparaki, Ijebu Igbo respectfully.
The event, which took place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, was presided over by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hazmat, representing Governor Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, CON. This significant achievement demonstrates the government’s commitment to strengthening traditional institutions.
