AOPSHON Commends Hon. Bolaji Odusanya at Launch of Ijebu North’s First-Ever Primary School Quiz and Debate Competition where Winner Becomes “ ONE DAY CHAIRMAN”

The Association Of Primary School Head teachers Of Nigeria (AOPSHON) Ijebu North Chapter has commended the administration of Hon. Bolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya for his impactful, laudable and human-friendly initiatives in Education sector.
“The representative of AOPSHON Ijebu North Chapter, Mr Ogunnaya Omotayo made this remark at Saint John Primary School in Ijebu Igbo during their visitation to the Examinations centers”.
“We must give kudos to the Chairman for bringing everybody together and witnessing this august event for the first time of my 35 years of service being put in place by any Local Government boss in Ijebu North is a privilege” he said.
“The Competition is one of the Executive Chairman of the Local Government initiatives aimed at inspiring excellence, build intellectual capacity and nurture leadership skills among pupils and students in Ijebu North Local Government Area”.
“The program is in commemoration of the year 2025 Children’s Day celebration”.
“The program bills to feature three categories, Examinations as first stage, Quiz as Second stage and Debate at the third and Final stage”.
“During his visit to the two centers: Saint John’s Primary School in Ijebu Igbo and Imososi Primary School in Ago Iwoye for the Ijebu Igbo and Ifelodun constituencies respectively where the first stage of the program, Examinations were taking place, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Mr Bolaji Odusanya commended the participants for turning up en-mass and for maintaining decorum during their examinations”.
“In a display of inclusivity, students from the School for the Blind Academy joined in and participated in the program”.
“The Council boss also promised that his administration will continue to do everything to support anything that will bring the best out of the learners, teachers and education at large in the Local Government”.
“Congratulations to you on your selection to represent your schools and here is me wishing you success in your examinations and in other stages of this competition”
“I’m impressed with the atmosphere at the centres and the level of organization here is topnotch”
“Thanks to AOPSHON and committee in charge of the program for a job well done and for helping us to actualize our dream in building our future together through education” Bolaji said.
“Aside the mouthwatering prizes and award for the winner of the competition, the winner will also have the opportunity to be paraded as ONE DAY CHAIRMAN in the Local Government”.
“The second stage of the program comes up at the 600 seaters multipurpose Hall in the Secretariat on 20th of May, 2025 while the Final Stage takes place at the same venue on 21st of May, 2025”.
“The ONE DAY chairman will be paraded on 26th of May, 2025 while the Grand Finale takes place at ABUSI Edumare Academy on 27th of May, 2025 by 9am”
“Over 50 Schools and more than 120 learners registered and participated in the first stage as refreshments were given to all the participants and their teachers”.
