Oba Dr. Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf Commission’s Favourland CDA Estate’s Landmark Projects in Ijebu Igbo

On May 17, Favourland Estate Ilero Alagangan CDA Okeoba III Odorasoyin Oke Sopen in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, marked a significant milestone with the commissioning of several development projects. The event, held at the estate, was graced by HRH Oba Dr. Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf, Erinkintola I, the Sopen Lukale of Oke Sopen in Ijebu Igbo.

The program commenced at 11am with an opening prayer by Pastor. Mrs. Tolulope and an Islamic cleric prayer by Alfa Bisiriyu.

The moderator for the event was the General Chairman, Chief Adeoye Gbenga.

The projects, which were built and commissioned by the CDA, include:

• A new entrance arch gate
• A standard security house
• A bridge and drainages
• Electrical poles and service wires

The projects were made possible through the support of Shunpoulakile Building Company and Real Estate Agent, who partnered with the CDA for the benefit of the community.

During the event, the CDA presented awards to esteemed individuals, presented by Oba Dr. Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf, the Sopen Lukale of Oke Sopen.

In his speech, Oba Dr. Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf commended the CDA committee, Awardees and the entire community for their efforts and bestowed royal blessings on them. He also presented awards to the special guests and awardees.

The ceremony honored notable individuals and supporters, including:

• Awardee: Engr. Akile Shunpoul, CEO of Shunpoul Building Company, for his pivotal role in supporting the project.
• Special Guest: High Chief Adesanya, the Olowa of Ijebu Igbo.
• Awardee: His Eminence Primate Dr. Olorunishola Shittu (Alasia Meje).
• Mother of the Day: Alhaja Chief Mrs. Olorunbunmi Bello, the Iyalaje of Oke-Agbo.
• Special Guest: Honorable Bosun Ipaye (CEO Boslad Integrated Services Limited).
• Special Guest: Oloritun of OKE OBA 1 Chief Mufutau Ketiku.
• Special Guest: Comrd. Onasile Adekunle J. the OKE SOPEN SO-SAFE CORPS Commander.
• Special Guest: Chief Host the Oloritun Oke OBA III, Chief James Olukoya.

He thanked the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom, HRM Oba Jayeoba Lawrence Adebajo, HRH Oba Dr. Mufutau Yusuf, the mother of the day, Chief Mrs. Bello the Iyalaje of Oke Agbo, Engr. Akile Shunpoul, CEO of Shunpoul Building Company, the Oloritun of OKE OBA 1 Chief Mufutau Ketiku, and other dignitaries present, CDA committee, awardees, supporters, and community members for their contributions and called for continued unity and cooperation.

Furthermore, As we celebrate this milestone, I call on every stakeholder to take ownership of this project and ensure its sustainability for future generations. Let’s work together to maintain and upgrade this facility, making it a lasting source of pride for our community.

To my fellow CDA leaders, I remind you that there will always be naysayers and detractors who seek to undermine our progress. Let’s stay focused and not be swayed by their negativity.

My vision for Favourland Estate is clear: to make it the second-to-none in Ijebu North in terms of amenities, infrastructure, and security. With God’s guidance, I’m confident we can achieve this goal.

He promised to bring more development projects to the estate and encouraged the members to share ideas that would promote growth and development in the community.
