Nosirat Osinowo Emerges A-Day Chairman After Winning 2025 Ijebu North Quiz and Debate Competition

In a remarkable display of intellectual prowess, Nosirat Osinowo, a 10-year-old pupil of Omo Edumare Primary School in Ago Iwoye, has won the maiden edition of the Ijebu North Quiz and Debate Competition hosted at INLG secretariat.

The competition, designed to foster critical thinking and public speaking skills among young students, saw participants from various primary schools in the Ijebu North Local Government Area.

Nosirat Osinowo’s achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication to academic excellence. Omo Edumare Primary School, located in the heart of Ago Iwoye.

The Ijebu North Quiz and Debate Competition aims to promote intellectual growth and development among primary school students in the local government area.

By encouraging students to engage in debates and quizzes, the competition helps build confidence, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

This maiden edition, initiated and sponsored by the Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government Hon. Bolaji Odusanya, marks a significant milestone in the history of the local government.

The program was supervised and judged by the Teach Lead Impact, and local government dignitaries with the support of the educational management bodies.

The Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government Hon Bolaji Odusanya not only sponsored the competition but also awarded scholarships to the top 5 students one other exceptional female student of Okubanjo Physical Chalenge school and also encouraging others to strive for excellence.

The Chairman has promised to continue this program, further emphasizing the local government’s commitment to promoting education.

To celebrate Nosirat’s achievement, she will be paraded as INLG Charman in all Ijebu North Local Government communities on Monday, May 26.
