Ijebu Igbo Football Legends Mark Year-End Celebration With Exciting Friendly Match

The Ijebu Igbo Football Legends Association rounded off the year in grand style with a thrilling end-of-year celebration highlighted by an entertaining friendly football match and a lively get-together among members.

The highly anticipated encounter, played at the Abusi Edumare Mini Stadium in Ijebu Igbo, featured Okocha Team squaring off against Museco Team in a display of passion, experience and sportsmanship that thrilled spectators present at the venue.

At the final whistle, Museco Team emerged victorious with an emphatic 4–1 win. Goals for the winning side were expertly delivered by Legends Loco, Siido, Moderate and Bigman, showcasing flashes of the brilliance that once defined their playing days. Legend Miido scored the lone consolation goal for Okocha Team, drawing cheers from fans and fellow legends alike.

Adding glamour and media presence to the event were two renowned sports presenters, Mr. Oke Sport of Eagle FM and Mr. Jawonton of Super FM, whose attendance further boosted the profile of the occasion. In a moment that delighted the crowd, one of the presenters also joined in the friendly match, underlining the relaxed and celebratory spirit of the day.

Speaking at the event, the President of the association, Comrade Titus Adunola, expressed deep satisfaction with the success of the celebration. He noted that the gathering not only provided entertainment but also strengthened the bond among members of the association.
