Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo
28th of January 1949, proudly commenced activities marking its 77th Founders’ Day Anniversary, celebrating over seven decades of outstanding contributions to education, character formation, and nation-building. The historic institution continues to stand tall as one of Ogun State’s finest secondary schools, renowned for its strong culture of discipline and academic excellence.
The anniversary celebration, held within the school premises, attracted a large turnout of distinguished alumni, old students, staff, and invited guests, all united by a shared commitment to the enduring legacy of Molusi College. The event was filled with reflections on the school’s journey, achievements, and its vital role in shaping generations of leaders across different sectors.
A major highlight of the occasion was the presence of Ijebu North Local Government Chair, Hon. Dr. Omobolaji Odusanya, an alumnus of Molusi College and the Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government. In his address to the students, he delivered inspiring words of guidance, emphasizing the values of discipline, focus, hard work, and integrity as key pillars for success in life. His message resonated strongly with the students, encouraging them to uphold the proud traditions of the school.
The celebration also witnessed the strong presence of many old students from different generations, including members of the 90s and Millennium sets, demonstrating the deep bond that continues to unite Molusi College alumni worldwide. The event was streamed live on the MOCOSA Global Facebook page, allowing alumni and well-wishers across the globe to participate virtually in the memorable occasion.
