Nollywood Actress, Fathia Balogun Loses Mother a Day Before Her Birthday, News Kept from Her

Nollywood actress Fathia Balogun has lost her mother, who passed away just a day before the actress’s birthday celebration.

Fathia revealed that her 55th birthday fell on Thursday, February 5, and she planned to hold a small celebration on Sunday. However, unknown to her at the time, her mother passed away on that same Sunday. The sad news was deliberately kept from her so she could celebrate her birthday in peace.

The actress shared that the reality of her mother’s death has not fully sunk in yet. She described her late mother as her prayer warrior and a strong source of support in her life.

Finding comfort in Allah, the Williams family has decided to keep the matter private for now. Fathia also appealed to the public to keep her and her siblings in their prayers during this difficult period.

She added that burial arrangements will be announced later.
