The Nigerian gospel music community has been thrown into mourning following the reported death of popular twin gospel singer, Taiwo Adegbodu.
Taiwo, who performed alongside his twin brother, Kehinde Adegbodu, was widely known for his unique voice and passionate praise songs that resonated with many gospel music lovers across the country.
News of his passing surfaced in the early hours of today after media platform OmojesuTV shared a brief but emotional post announcing the sad development. He wrote;
Bad news early in the morning ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Taiwo adegbodu confirmed deadðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Further confirmation later indicated that the singer had indeed passed away.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of his death has not been made public.
Fans, friends and colleagues have begun expressing their condolences to the family, describing the late singer as a devoted minister of the gospel whose songs inspired many.
