From Prison to Hero: Ooni of Ife Gifts Comic Actor Baba Ijesha Brand-New Car, Confers Chieftaincy Title

The Ooni, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, received actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, known as Baba Ijesha, at his palace in Ile-Ife.
The actor was a guest of the Ooni with his wife, Luminee, who has given him a baby boy.
The paramount ruler was elated at receiving the actor and his new family. According to the report, Baba Ijesha was gifted a brand new car by the Ooni.
Also, he was honoured with the chieftaincy title, Baba Awada Konge Oduwa of Ile Ife, to the latter’s surprise.
Showing his appreciation, the comedy actor posted on social media about how he was overwhelmed by the fatherly love from the monarch.
“Baba, thank you for the royal welcome, fatherly love, and the confidence you gave my wife, Afolashade Ominika and me. For the luxurious gifts you blessed us with, and the brand new car. I am truly humbled. As a son of soil.. I’m also honoured by the chieftaincy title ‘Baba Awada Konge Oduwa, Ile Ife, Ile Oodua’!

Recall that Baba Ijesha has been receiving congratulations and a show of love at his new vista after he announced that God has blessed him with a boy from his new wife, Luminee, who is a known fashion designer.
The good news came with mixed feelings as some felt that someone who was convicted of defiling a minor and served his term in prison, he ought to keep a low profile. On the other hand, some of his colleagues in the industry believed he deserved a new life and identified with him on the bundle of joy, the new baby and family.
Baba Ijesha has continued to deny the charges, insisting he was framed. Ooni of Ife is the recent important personality to receive and bless him with gifts.
