Kegbo of Atikori, Oba Ibitoye Solaja, Unveils Programme for 25th Coronation Anniversary and Autobiography Launch

The Kegbo of Atikori Kingdom Ijebu Igbo, His Royal Highness Oba Ibitoye Solaja JP, has announced the programme for the celebration of his 25th Coronation Anniversary and the official launch of his autobiography.
Oba Solaja called on all sons and daughters of Atikori Kingdom, both in Nigeria and across the diaspora, as well as friends and well-wishers, to come together and participate in the historic celebration.
The week-long Silver Jubilee celebration will begin on Monday, November 30, 2026 and end on Sunday, December 6, 2026, with a series of activities highlighting the Kingdom’s culture, unity and development.
Speaking ahead of the anniversary, the respected monarch expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness, protection and guidance throughout his 25 years on the throne. He also prayed for continued peace, unity, progress and prosperity in Atikori Kingdom.
According to the event committee, the celebrations will feature special Christian, Islamic and traditional prayers for the peace and progress of Atikori Kingdom, the foundation-laying ceremony of the multi-million-naira Atikori Civic Centre, a football match, a praise concert, the installation of new chiefs and the official launch of his autobiography.
Other activities have been carefully planned to celebrate the Kingdom’s rich cultural heritage, remarkable achievements and continued development over the past 25 years.
The celebrations will conclude on Sunday, December 6, 2026, with a Special Thanksgiving Service at St. James Anglican Church Hall, followed by a reception for invited guests and members of the public.
Oba Solaja encouraged all indigenes of Atikori Kingdom, friends, supporters and well-wishers to be part of the memorable occasion and continue supporting the growth and development of the Kingdom.
The Silver Jubilee celebration is expected to attract traditional rulers, government officials, members of the diplomatic community, business leaders, professionals, sons and daughters of Atikori Kingdom from across Nigeria and the diaspora, as well as many other distinguished guests.
The anniversary promises to be a memorable occasion as Atikori Kingdom celebrates 25 years of visionary leadership, service and community development under the reign of His Royal Highness Oba Ibitoye Solaja.
