The remains of late Madam Ajoke Ipaye, mother of former Ogun State Commissioner for Health and Balogun of Ijebu-Igbo, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, have been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
The burial took place today at the residence of her son, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, located at Egbe Subair Quarters, Oke-Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo, at about 2:00 p.m.
The Chief Imam of Ijebu-Igbo, Alhaji Sheikh Qasim Badejo, led Muslim faithful, family members, friends, dignitaries and other sympathisers in prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased before her remains were committed to the earth.
The burial ceremony was attended by dignitaries, loved ones, family members and well-wishers who gathered to pay their final respects to the late Mama Ajoke Ipaye, who lived a fulfilled life and was widely loved and respected.
May the soul of late Madam Ajoke Ipaye rest in perfect peace, and may God grant the Ipaye family the strength to bear the loss.
