Ilaro Muslim Community Announces Burial of Alhaji Hassan Taiwo ‘Ogogo’

The Ilaro Muslim Community has announced the burial arrangements for the late Alhaji Hassan Taiwo, popularly known as “Ogogo.”
The announcement was made with a call for prayers for the deceased, as the community and family members prepare to bid him a final farewell.
The burial is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground, Ilaro, with the funeral proceedings commencing at 10:00 a.m.
Family members, friends, well-wishers and members of the public have been invited to attend the burial, offer prayers and pay their final respects to the deceased.
The Chief Imam of Ilaro expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of Alhaji Hassan Taiwo, praying that Allah grants him eternal rest and gives his loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
The community also urged Muslims and sympathisers to continue to remember the deceased in their prayers.
