Obakese Disassociates Engr. Neyo Ogunyemi From His Personal Activities, Content Creation

Prince Adeola Olowolayemo, popularly known as Obakese, has publicly clarified that Adeniyi Olamilekan Ogunyemi Popularly Known Engr. Neyo International, the APC House of Assembly aspirant for Ijebu North Constituency I (Ijebu Igbo), has no involvement in his personal activities, content creation, or opinions expressed on his media platforms.
In a statement issued by Obakese, he explained that although he supported and worked for Engr. Neyo during the APC primary election period, both parties moved on with their respective activities after the election.
He said:
“During the APC primary election period, I supported and worked for Engr. Neyo. However, after the primary election, everyone moved on with their respective lives and activities.”
According to him, he has continued his work as a content creator, analyst, and media personality, just as he was doing before his involvement in the political campaign.
Obakese said he was recently informed that some party leaders had expressed concerns that some of his contents could implicate Engr. Neyo.
He, however, stressed that Engr. Neyo is neither his employer, supervisor, nor sponsor and has no involvement in the content he creates or the opinions he expresses.
“Therefore, I want to make it clear to everyone concerned that Engr. Neyo is not my employer, supervisor, or sponsor. He has no involvement in the content I create or the opinions I express on my platforms.”
He further explained that his content creation activities existed before he supported Engr. Neyo’s political ambition and have continued independently after the primary election.
Obakese also stated that he has not violated any law through his content and that he takes full responsibility for his personal views and activities.
“Furthermore, I have not violated any law through my conten and I take full responsibility for my personal views and activities.”
He therefore appealed to anyone concerned not to associate Engr. Neyo with matters that do not involve him, stressing that the APC aspirant should not be held responsible for his personal work, content, or decisions.
“I respectfully urge anyone concerned not to associate Engr. Neyo with matters that do not involve him. He should not be held responsible for my personal work, content, or decisions.”
