IJEBU-IGBO — The Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Odusanya, has reportedly intervened in a leadership matter involving the Butchers Association in Ijebu-Igbo, amid concerns over the expiration of the association’s current leadership tenure.
According to flyers posted across Obada Market and its environs, Hon. Bolaji Odusanya has taken steps to address the situation and prevent the matter from escalating into a crisis among members of the association.
The information contained in the flyers stated that the tenure of the current chairman of the Butchers Association, Mr. Musa Abeshin, expired on September 5, 2026. It further referenced the association’s rules, stating that elected officers are expected to serve a four-year tenure.
