Oluomo of Ijebu-Igbo Criticises Rep Member Hon. Adegbesan, Calls on Voters Not to Re-elect Him Over Lack of Tangible Projects in Ijebu-Igbo in Three Years

High Chief Alhaji Abiodun Ismail Lawal Abinugbola (MSc), the Oluomo of Ijebu-Igbo and Agbesinga Akile Ijebu, has criticised the performance of Hon. Joseph Adegbesan of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that the lawmaker has failed to execute any tangible project in Ijebu-Igbo since assuming office.
In a Facebook post, High Chief Abinugbola stated that Hon. Adegbesan’s performance in Ijebu-Igbo has been “below expectation,” while expressing dissatisfaction with what he described as the lack of visible projects in the community over the past three years.
He wrote:
“Honorable Adegbesan of all progressive congress (APC) has performed below expectation in Ijebu Igbo, he has no tangible project executed in Ijebu Igbo for more than 3years in power, we should ensure not to vote someone like him in coming election…”
He further stated that efforts would be made to ensure that Adegbesan does not receive votes from the people in the forthcoming election.
“We will ensure to remove his vote from others in coming election..”
He signed the statement as Lawal Abiodun (MSc), Oluomo of Ijebu-Igbo, Agbesinga Akile Ijebu.
Hon. Joseph Adegbesan is the APC member representing the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
