Federation of Ijebu Igbo Students’ Union (FIISU) Elects Sulaiman Mustapha Oyekanmi as New President

Sulaiman Mustapha Oyekanmi, former General Secretary of the Federation of Ijebu Igbo Students’ Union (FIISU), has emerged as the new President of the association.
Oyekanmi won the FIISU presidential election held yesterday, securing the mandate of students to lead the association for the new administration.
Following his victory, the newly elected President appreciated FIISUITES, the electoral committee, stakeholders, and community leaders for their support during the election.
In his words:
“My dearest FIISUITES, I sincerely appreciate you all for your unwavering support and votes to have been elected as the president of this our great association. To the electoral committee, stakeholders, and distinguished leaders in the community that contributed to this thank you.
May God continue lead us through for a greater future we all deserve as student of the community.
To my brother and former opposition who has now been appointed as Vice President, I sincerely congratulate you as well. I believe your experience, ideas, and commitment can contribute greatly to this administration.
Let us work together in unity, respect, and understanding to make FIISU greater. This is not about who won or lost anymore, it is about what we can achieve together for our people.
Congratulations once again, my brother. May this administration be successful and beneficial to all.”
The new FIISU President is expected to lead the association with a focus on unity, cooperation and the interests of students from Ijebu-Igbo.
