Elite Club of Ijebu Igbo Marks 20th Anniversary with Educational Support to Public Schools

As part of activities marking its 20th anniversary, the Elite Club of Ijebu Igbo has donated notebooks to pupils of public primary schools across Ijebu Igbo.
The exercise, which began on Monday, August 21, 2026, was led by the President of the club, Elite Nojeemdeen Inakoju, alongside other members of the club.
According to the club, approval for the exercise was obtained from the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dr. Bolaji Odusanya, through the Local Government Education Authority.
The donation was aimed at supporting pupils as they begin a new academic session and helping to reduce some of the educational challenges faced by families.
Members of the club visited public primary schools across the five quarters of Ijebu Igbo to distribute the notebooks to the pupils.
Speaking during the exercise, the President, Elite Nojeemdeen Inakoju, said although the Elite Club of Ijebu Igbo is a social club, its members believe in contributing positively to the development of the community.
He explained that the notebook distribution was part of the club’s efforts to support education and give back to the community.
The President also highlighted some of the club’s previous activities, including donations worth millions of naira to the Orimolusi Palace, support for less privileged people, assistance to government agencies and community organisations, as well as medical support for people in need.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the club for the gesture, while teachers and parents also commended the members for supporting education in public primary schools.
They described the initiative as a meaningful contribution, noting that the decision by a social club to invest in the education of young pupils was worthy of recognition.
The President assured the people of Ijebu Igbo that the Elite Club would continue to support community development and undertake more initiatives that would positively impact the people in the years ahead.
