Ijebu-Ode Local Govt Endorses Ijebu Detty December 2026, Confirms Itoro Open Ground as Venue

The Ijebu-Ode Local Government has officially endorsed Ijebu Detty December 2026 and confirmed Itoro Open Ground, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Secretariat, as the venue for the maiden edition of the festival.

The Executive Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Hon. Dare Alebiosu, received the official Host City Plaque from Otunba Jide Fowode, Founder and Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of Festival Managers Africa International Limited (FMA), the organisers of the event.

The festival is expected to bring together residents, visitors and fun lovers for a full day of entertainment, culture and lifestyle activities.

The maiden edition will feature food, fashion, lifestyle, culture, comedy, games, music and a Detty Night, offering attendees an opportunity to experience entertainment and the rich cultural spirit of Ijebu in one celebration.

With the venue now officially confirmed and the event endorsed by the local government, preparations are expected to intensify ahead of the festival.
