Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State — The Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya, has joined the ranks of distinguished leaders across Africa after being conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana.
The certificate presentation was officially made today at his office in the Ijebu North Local Government Secretariat, Ijebu-Igbo, by representatives of the Institute where he was joined by dignitaries, political associates, and staff of the local government.
The colourful event was graced by prominent leaders, traditional rulers, and members of the academic community.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Dr. Odusanya expressed gratitude to the Institute and dedicated the recognition to the people of Ijebu North, stressing that the award is a call to even greater service.
“This doctorate is a testament to the collective achievements of our administration and the people’s trust. I dedicate it to my constituents, and I pledge to keep working for their progress and development,” he remarked.
Observers described the award as a well-deserved honour for a leader who has continued to record giant strides in infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and community development since assuming office.
