Ogun State Honours Mr. Matilukuro Olanrewaju Sesan as Best Teacher (Senior Schools Category)

In recognition of excellence and dedication to the teaching profession, the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has honoured Mr. Matilukuro Olanrewaju Sesan of Muslim High School, Ago Iwoye, with the prestigious Best Teacher Award (Public Senior Schools Category) at the 2025 Dapo Abiodun State Awards.
The award, presented by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, commended Mr. Matilukuro’s outstanding performance, commitment to quality education, and his exemplary contribution to the development of students in Ogun State.
In the official congratulatory letter issued on October 5, 2025, Prof. Arigbabu described the award as a motivation for continued excellence and productivity in the teaching profession.
“This award is presented to you in order to further motivate you for improved productivity in the teaching profession,” the letter stated.
The Honourable Commissioner further expressed his hearty congratulations, wishing Mr. Matilukuro “more resounding success in his future endeavours.”
Mr. Matilukuro’s recognition underscores Ogun State Government’s continued commitment to rewarding hard work, innovation, and professionalism among educators as part of efforts to raise the standard of learning across public schools in the state.
