Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State — De Dynamos Club, Ijebu-Igbo has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to education and community development by awarding full scholarships to two brilliant and deserving pupils, covering their education from primary school through university level.
The scholarship recipients are Adaworin Rofiat Ajoke, an 8-year-old Primary 4, pupil of St. James Anglican Primary School I, Atikori, Ijebu-Igbo, and Yusuf Tomola Mathew, a 10-year-old Primary 5, pupil of St. John’s Catholic Primary School, Oke Padre, Oke Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo. Both pupils were recognized for their outstanding academic performance and exemplary character.
As part of the presentation ceremony, the beneficiaries received school materials, books, pencil and bags to further support their educational journey.
Speaking during the event, the President of De Dynamos Club, Mr. Yusuf Azeez, expressed appreciation to members for their continued contributions to the club’s vision. He emphasized that education remains one of the club’s top priorities, adding that De Dynamos will keep empowering young talents and providing opportunities for children from less-privileged backgrounds.
This scholarship initiative builds on the club’s ongoing educational support programs. Last year, De Dynamos Club distributed over 3,000 books to students across all five quarters of Ijebu-Igbo, a project aimed at promoting literacy and academic excellence in the community.
Parents of the scholarship awardees were full of gratitude, offering prayers and appreciation to the club for its generosity and commitment to nurturing the next generation.
Members of the De Dynamos Club, Ijebu-Igbo also encouraged the students to stay focused, study diligently, and make the best use of the opportunity provided.
