Molusi College (Senior) Wins N700,000 Second Prize at TAIDE Foundation Debate Honoring Ogun First Lady’s Late Mother

Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State — According to information reaching MarvelTvUpdates, Molusi College Senior Secondary School, Ijebu-Igbo, have distinguished themselves at the TAIDE Foundation 10th Year Remembrance Debate Competition, held today at the Wosam Arena, Ago-Iwoye.
The debate formed part of activities commemorating the 10th Year Remembrance of the late Maami Taibat Ademosu, the beloved mother of Her Excellency, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, the First Lady of Ogun State.
The event, organised by the TAIDE Foundation, brought together several secondary schools across Ogun State to engage in a rigorous intellectual exchange designed to promote education, public speaking, and analytical reasoning among students.
Molusi College Senior Secondary School, Ijebu Igbo showcased exceptional brilliance, securing the second position and earning a N700,000 cash prize for their effort.
The school was represented by three talented students, Sanni Nasirudeen and Ajari Jonathan, whose performance was widely applauded by both judges and guests for its clarity, logic, and confidence.
In her remarks, Her Excellency, Ogun First Lady Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, commended the participating schools for their dedication and intellect, describing the initiative as one that aligns with her commitment to educational empowerment and youth development. She emphasized that the TAIDE Foundation, established in honour of her late mother, continues to reflect Maami Taibat Ademosu’s enduring passion for knowledge, discipline, and community service.
The event was graced by dignitaries, education stakeholders, and well-wishers who praised the Foundation for investing in the intellectual growth of young people as a meaningful way to immortalize the late matriarch’s legacy.
Certificates of recognition and cash prizes were presented to winners and participants at the end of the event.
