Botu Community Primary School, located at Odobotu, Oke Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo, has continued to stand as one of the notable centres of foundational learning in Ogun State as it clocks 35 years of existence this November 2025.
Established in 1990, the school has served as a beacon of hope and learning for children within and around the Odobotu community. Over the years, it has produced numerous pupils who have advanced into various professions, contributing meaningfully to society.
As part of its 35th anniversary milestone, the school community in collaboration with the Old Students’ Association and the Odobotu Youth Forum has initiated developmental projects aimed at improving the institution’s infrastructure. These include the establishment of a modern school library, a perimeter fence, and a borehole facility to provide a more conducive learning environment.

The joint effort reflects a growing sense of responsibility among the school’s alumni and community members toward sustaining educational excellence and supporting the next generation of learners.
