Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has dismissed reports alleging a clash between him and the Council of Afobajes over the Awujale selection process, describing such claims as false and misleading.
Sources say the Governor held a peaceful and consultative meeting with the Afobajes, focused on unity and the progress of traditional affairs in Ijebuland.
The Governor did not issue threats or ultimatums. Claims such as “No Kuye, No Awujale” are entirely fabricated and did not come from the Governor or his administration.
