As the holy month of Ramadan begins, the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo, Alhaji High Chief Ismail Abiodun Olawale Lawal Abinugbola, has announced that the daily distribution of 1,500 food portions will now be extended to different parts of Ijebu Igbo.
On the Ramadan feeding initiative, the Agbesinga Adinni of Ijebu Land, Alhaji High Chief Ismail Lawal Abinugbola, stated:
The 1500 daily food will be spread across ljebu Igbo starting tomorrow not Oke agbo as usual!

According to the announcement, starting from tomorrow, the Ramadan food support will no longer be limited to Oke Agbo, as was previously done.
Instead, the meals will be shared across various communities within the town to ensure that more residents benefit during the fasting period.
In his message, the Oluomo thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation, emphasizing that the new arrangement is aimed at promoting fairness, inclusion and wider reach throughout Ijebu Igbo.
The Ramadan feeding initiative is part of his continued commitment to supporting families and vulnerable individuals during the sacred month.
