CCC Prophet Murdered in Ijebu Ode Over Alleged Internet Fraud Dispute

A tragic incident has been reported in Oke Eri, where a man was killed by unknown attackers.
The victim, Prophet Aliyu Samson, who was said to be a cleric in a Celestial Church, was attacked at his newly completed house in the area.
Early reports suggest the incident may be connected to a disagreement over alleged internet fraud activities, commonly known as “Yahoo ripping.” However, police have clarified that the case is not related to cult violence.
The investigation is currently being handled by the Divisional Police Officer of Attan Division, CSP Gbadamosi, who assured the public that efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest those responsible.
Authorities have warned residents to avoid spreading unverified information, as it may create panic and affect ongoing investigations.
Residents in the area are also advised to stay alert and cooperate with security agencies.
The police say updates will be shared as the investigation continues.
