The ancient town of Ijebu-Igbo came alive as His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo Ojuromi VI the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, led other traditional rulers to officially commission the newly completed Abinugbola Suites & Apartments.
The colourful event also witnessed the presence of respected monarchs including Sopenlukale of Oke Sopen, HRH Oba Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf, Bejeroku of Oke Agbo, HRH Oba Stephen Adekoya, Abijaparako of Japara, HRH Oba Ogunye Adewale Aderemi and Olokine of Ojowo, HRH Oba Abdulrasheed Abayomi Banjo Phd, who all joined in celebrating the milestone.
The host, Alhaji High Chief Ismail Olawale Abiodun Lawal Abinugbola the Oluomo of Ijebu Igbo, warmly received guests and personally took the royal fathers on a tour of the modern facility. Family members, many dignitaries, friends and well-wishers also gathered in large numbers to celebrate the achievement.
Speaking at the event, dignitaries commended the project as a major development that will boost hospitality and economic growth in Ijebu-Igbo.
One of the most unique features of Abinugbola Suites & Apartments is its deep cultural touch. Each apartment unit is named after prominent royal titles within Ijebu-Igbo. These include the Orimolusi Unit, Sopen-Lukale Unit, Beje-Roku Unit, Keegbo Unit, Abijaparako Unit and Olokine Unit an initiative widely praised for promoting tradition and preserving heritage.
In addition, the concierge unit is named “Olorunbunmi” in honour of his loving mother, the Iyalaje of Oke-Agbo, Alhaja Chief Olorunbunmi, reflecting a strong sense of family values and respect for legacy.
