Tola Adebajo Foundation Support and Distributes Improved Tenera Palm Seedlings to 40 Farmers in Ijebu-Igbo

The Tola Adebajo Foundation has taken another step towards supporting agriculture and improving food production by distributing improved Tenera palm seedlings to 40 farmers in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State.

The distribution took place during the Foundation’s Flag-Off Ceremony for the Improved Palm-Oil Seedlings Programme, held at the INLG Auditorium, Ijebu-Igbo.

The initiative is aimed at empowering local farmers, increasing palm oil production, creating more economic opportunities and promoting food security in the community.

Among the dignitaries present at the event were Engr. Bayo Dayo, Ms. Bukky Onadeko, Hon. Wahab Adesina, Hon. Olatunbosun Ipaye (APC House of Assembly candidate), Mr. Y. T. Adebiyi, former Director of the Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, Alhaji Asimiyu, Chairman of all APC Ward Chairmen in Ogun East, Engr. Kunle Okubanjo, APC Ward 6 Chairman, Mr. Lawal, representative of the APC Ward 1 Chairman, and other APC ward chairmen from Ijebu-Igbo.

Also in attendance were Hon. Onasile, Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government and Hon. Okusaga Adeola, the Supervisor for Works in the local government and all tola Adebajo foundation team.

Speaking at the event, the convener, Prince Tola Adebajo, expressed appreciation to members of his team, the Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government and everyone who contributed to the success of the programme. He noted that supporting farmers is one of the best ways to strengthen the local economy and ensure sustainable food production.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Prince Tola Adebajo and the Foundation for the generous support. They described the improved Tenera palm seedlings as a valuable investment that will increase their harvest and improve their livelihoods.

The programme further demonstrated the Foundation’s commitment to empowering farmers, promoting agriculture and contributing to the development of Ijebu-Igbo and its surrounding communities.
