IGP Tunji Disu, Oba Orimolusi, Senator Shuaib Salisu, Dignitaries Attend Final Burial and 40th-Day Fidau for Late Mama Ajoke Ipaye, Mother of Former Ogun Health Commissioner, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye in Ijebu Igbo

IJEBU-IGBO, OGUN STATE — Family members, friends, political leaders, traditional rulers, business leaders and well-wishers gathered in Omo-Ilu Hall in Ijebu-Igbo on Friday for the 40th-day Fidau prayer for the late Mama Nimota Ajoke Ipaye, mother of former Ogun State Commissioner for Health and Balogun of Ijebu-Igbo, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye.
The gathering was attended by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, Ogun Central Senator, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, Senator Lekan Mustapha, Senator Gbenga Kaka, Rt Hon, Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid Attaker, House of Representatives representing Ijebu Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency is Hon. Olufemi Adeleke, Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Youth Development, Dr. Adeeko Fiyinfoluwa (DAAF), House of Representatives member, Hon. Adegbesan, and many other dignitaries.
The Orimolusi of Ijebu-Igbo, Oba Lawrence Adebajo, led other traditional rulers to the ceremony. Also present were the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Beje Roku of Oke-Agbo, Oloru of Oru, Olokine of Ojowo, as well as other monarchs, community leaders and important personalities.
The late Mama Nimota Ajoke Ipaye was also the mother of Hon. Bosun Ipaye, the APC candidate for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ijebu North Constituency I (Ijebu-Igbo).
The prayer session and thanksgiving was led by the Chief Imam of Ijebu-Igbo, Alhaji Sheikh Badejo Qasim, together with other Islamic scholars and Alasalatus.
They prayed for Allah SWT to forgive the shortcomings of the late Mama Nimota Ajoke Ipaye, grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and make her grave filled with light and peace.
Prayers were also offered for the Ipaye family, asking Allah to give them Sabr, strength and comfort as they continue to mourn their beloved mother and matriarch.
The family expressed appreciation to all the traditional rulers, political leaders, business leaders, Islamic scholars, community leaders, friends and well-wishers who attended the ceremony and supported the family during their period of mourning.
The gathering ended with more prayers for the late Mama Nimota Ajoke Ipaye and prayers for Allah’s blessings, protection, peace and prosperity for the family she left behind.
