Chiemeka Arinze was arrested alongside Evans for the attempted kidnap of the Young Shall Grow Motors chairman, Chief Vincent Obianodo.
They were charged with murder, attempted murder and kidnap, and arraigned before an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
Arinze was rushed to a General Hospital on 26th, November, where he later died.
His lawyer had earlier applied for his bail over the illness. An application that was later withdrawn after his death.
The hearing for the application was slated for today, 29th November.
According to the death certificate issued by the general hospital he was rushed to at Ajegunle, the 45 year old had been battling with complicated advanced HIV.
