A 43-year-old man identified as Ademola Oladimeji on Monday February 14, was arraigned before a Ikeja magistrates’ court after being arrested for defiling his three daughters and beating up their mother when she confronted him.
According to DSP Kehinde Ajayi, The Prosecutor said the mother of the girls told the police that her husband had been defiling their daughters aged nine, seven and five by inserting his finger into their private part.
She also revealed that when she confronted him, he got angry, beat her up and inflicted injuries on her body, the offense was committed in 2021 and he’s charged with defilement and assault.
The Magistrate, A.O. Ajibade did not take Oladimeji’s plea, and further directed the police to send the case file to the state’s Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
He was taken to Kirikiri Correctional Center for detention and the case was adjourned to March 2.
