So-Safe Corps Arrests Robbery Suspect For Looting Neighbor’s Electronics | MarvelTvUpdates

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps at about 0200hrs on Thursday, 11th May, 2023 having received a distress call from a community man, apprehended a middle-aged man for tactically robbing his neighbour.

This is contained in a press release issued from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

The statement said that the officers and men of the Corps in Adiyan/Alausa/Onibudo Division of the Corps, who were on routine patrol on this fateful day, received a distress call from a community person crying for help to save lives and property from being taken unlawfully.

Ganzallo noted that the officers and men of the Corps swung into action and landed at 2, Adesina Compound, Onibudo via Akute in If Local Government Area.

At the scene, the victim told the officers that a person just forced his way into his apartment nakedly with a cutlass and knife; and before he could call for help, he has carted away a smart TV and a decoder.

Ganzallo further explained that the operatives of the Corps some minutes later apprehended one.

Mr Daniel Coker, a 43-year-old man, who happens to be a neighbour to the victim in the same building after a thorough search for the robbery suspect, and the stolen television, three cutlasses and one jack knife were found in his room.

In the course of preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and established that if not for the expertise demonstrated by the officers of the So-Safe, no one will ever suspect him to have carried out the operation with the very rare style he adopted, Ganzallo said.

Plasma TV, 3 cutlasses and 1 Jack Knife have been transfered to the Nigeria Police, Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
