
No fewer than ten people have been allegedly reported dead following a fatal road accident that occurred on Tuesday morning along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, near the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The collision involved three Nissan Micra taxis and three articulated trucks, all reportedly traveling from the Iwo Road axis when the crash occurred. Also two students leads city university was involved in the accident.

The crash which happened around 7:50 a.m. involved three Nissan Micra Taxi Cabs and three Trailers, all reportedly heading from the Iwo Road axis of the expressway.
The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Security Operatives and other emergency responders were at the scene working to recover the remains of the victims and restore traffic flow.

Traffic in the area was heavily disrupted as authorities cordoned off part of the road to manage the aftermath.
Eyewitnesses said that 10 bodies were evacuated from the scene and taken to the mortuary, while injured persons were taken to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
The Police and NEMA are yet to issue a statement on the tragic incident.
