The Ijebu-Igbo Football Legends delivered an impressive performance on home soil, defeating Remo All Stars International 4-2 in the second leg of their friendly encounter at the Abusi Edumare Mini Stadium, Oke Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo.
The victory served as sweet revenge for the Legends, who suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg played in Iperu-Remo last month. Determined to make a statement before their supporters, the home side displayed resilience, experience and attacking brilliance throughout the match.
Despite conceding an early goal, Ijebu-Igbo Football Legends responded strongly, scoring four goals to overturn the deficit and secure a deserved victory. The thrilling encounter kept spectators entertained, with fans cheering passionately despite the light drizzle that accompanied the game.
