BREAKING: Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Ijebu Igbo, Postpones 2026 SUG Elections Indefinitely

The management of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo, has announced the indefinite postponement of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) elections that were scheduled to hold on Monday, July 13, 2026.
In a statement issued on Sunday, July 12, 2026, the institution said the election has been postponed until further notice, adding that a new date will be communicated through the appropriate official channels.
The management urged students to remain calm and continue with their normal academic activities, emphasizing that lectures and all other approved academic engagements will proceed as scheduled despite the postponement.
While apologizing for any inconvenience the decision may cause, the institution expressed appreciation to students and other stakeholders for their understanding, cooperation, and continued support.
No reason was given for the postponement in the official announcement.
Students have been advised to await further updates from the institution regarding the rescheduled date for the election.
