Abinugbola Foundation Empowers Persons with Disabilities with Over N3Million Worth of Cash Support and Working Equipment in Ijebu-Igbo

The Abinugbola Foundation has empowered persons living with physical disabilities in Ijebu-Igbo and nearby communities with financial support and working tools worth N3.01 million, giving many beneficiaries a fresh opportunity to improve their businesses and livelihoods.
The empowerment programme, personally funded by the Oluomo of Ijebu-Igbo, High Chief Alhaji Ismail Olawale Lawal Abinugbola, is part of the foundation’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support vulnerable members of society and promote self-reliance.
As part of the programme, a beneficiary received support worth N400,000, including a new generator and cash assistance to expand a barbering business. Another beneficiary received N200,000, while another beneficiary was supported with N360,000.
Also, a beneficiary benefited from N200,000, another beneficiary received N250,000, while another beneficiary was empowered with N300,000. Another beneficiary received a grinding machine and cash support worth N400,000 to improve a source of income.
In addition, another beneficiary benefited from N350,000, another beneficiary received N250,000, while another beneficiary was supported with N300,000.
The total value of the support provided to persons living with disabilities under this phase of the empowerment programme is N3,010,000.
Speaking on the initiative, High Chief Alhaji Ismail Olawale Lawal Abinugbola said the empowerment programme is personally funded by him as a way of giving back to society. He explained that although the programme is carried out through the Abinugbola Foundation, he solely finances the interventions to improve the lives of vulnerable people.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support, describing it as timely and life-changing. They said the financial assistance and equipment would help them become more independent, strengthen their businesses and improve their standard of living.
They also prayed for Almighty Allah to continue to bless, protect and reward High Chief Abinugbola for his generosity and prayed for the continued growth of the Abinugbola Foundation so that more vulnerable people can benefit from its humanitarian programmes.
