Fecund Empire Foundation Installs Six Solar-Powered Lights at Ijebu Igbo Town Hall Ahead of Ijebu Got Talent

IJEBU IGBO, OGUN STATE — Ahead of the October 10, 2026 Ijebu Got Talent show, the Fecund Empire Foundation has installed six solar-powered lights at the Ijebu Igbo Town Hall as part of efforts to contribute to community development.

The installation is one of the Foundation’s latest interventions in Ijebu Igbo and comes ahead of the highly anticipated talent event, which will hold at the Town Hall.

The Ijebu Got Talent initiative, sponsored by the Fecund Empire Foundation, is aimed at discovering, promoting and empowering young talents across Ijebuland. Selected beneficiaries are expected to receive cash grants and other forms of support to enable them further develop their talents.

The event will also mark the 10th anniversary of Fecund Empire, celebrating a decade of the organisation’s existence and its contributions to society.

The founder of Fecund Empire Foundation and chief host of the talent show, Otunba Simon Olalekan Oluwole, is spearheading the initiative alongside the co-founder of the Foundation, Hon. Ayodeji Ipaye, who will serve as co-host of the event.

The installation of the six solar-powered lights at the Town Hall has attracted commendation from residents and members of the community, who described the gesture as a practical contribution to the development of Ijebu Igbo.

Community members also expressed appreciation to the leadership of Fecund Empire Foundation for the intervention, while calling for more individuals, organisations and community stakeholders to support development initiatives across Ijebuland.

The development comes as preparations intensify for the October 10 Ijebu Got Talent, an event expected to bring together talented young people, community leaders and other stakeholders to celebrate creativity, enterprise and youth empowerment.

The Foundation’s intervention further highlights the growing role of private individuals and organizations in complementing government efforts towards sustainable community development.
