The Otunba Atunlunto of Ilugun-North, Otunba Olalekan Simon Oluwole, founder of Fecund Empire Group and a prominent advocate for community development, has been named among the 100 Persons of the Year 2026 honourees under The Royal Edition.

A Visionary Entrepreneur with Global Business Interests
Otunba Olalekan Simon Oluwole is a Nigerian entrepreneur and community development advocate based in São Paulo, Brazil. He is the founder of Fecund Empire Group, a business network with interests spanning international trade, bovine hides and skins distribution, logistics, agriculture, natural skincare and mining.
Since establishing Fecund Farms in 2016, Oluwole has expanded the Fecund vision into a business network with more than 12 warehouses across Nigeria, alongside international sourcing partnerships.
Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, he serves as Founder and Chairman of the Fecund Empire Community Development Foundation, through which he supports initiatives in education, food security, entrepreneurship, energy access, cultural preservation and environmental sustainability.
Ijebu Got Talent 2026: Investing in Young Entrepreneurs
One of the Foundation’s notable community development initiatives is Ijebu Got Talent 2026, which was organised in October 2026 as part of the celebration of the Fecund Empire Foundation’s 10th anniversary.

Academic and Professional Background
In addition to his business and philanthropic activities, Otunba Oluwole is the Co-Founder and Head of Growth at Paenote Technologies Limited. He also holds the prestigious traditional title of Otunba Atunlunto of Ilugun-North Kingdom.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria. He is also pursuing an MBA at FGV EAESP in Brazil.
