Trophy Lager Beer Unveils Exciting Plans for Ojude Oba Orimolusi 2026 at Press Conference in Ijebu Igbo

The ancient town of Ijebu Igbo came alive today as representatives of Trophy Lager Beer held a grand press conference and stakeholders’ meeting ahead of the much-anticipated Ojude Oba Orimolusi 2026 festival.
The event, which took place at the prestigious Orimolusi Palace, brought together members of the Regberegbe in Council, traditional leaders, festival committee members and leaders of the various Regberegbe groups in the community.
The host of the event, Otunba Babajide Fowode, the Gbobaniyi of Ijebu Igbo, warmly welcomed the sponsors, dignitaries and guests to the palace while also anchoring the programme successfully.
Speaking during the event, the Chairman of the Regberegbe in Council and Chairman of the Ojude Oba Orimolusi 2026 Committee, Otun Ganiyu Babatunde, expressed profound appreciation to Trophy Lager Beer for their support and commitment towards the success of the cultural festival. He assured the sponsors of continuous cooperation from the people of Ijebu Igbo and appreciated all dignitaries and invited guests present at the occasion.
Representing the Ijebu Igbo Traditional Council, Oba Dr Abdulrasheed Banjo, the Olokine of Ojowo, welcomed the sponsors on behalf of the paramount ruler, Oba Jaiyeoba Adebajo, the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo. In his remarks, he appreciated Trophy Lager Beer for partnering with the community and called for stronger collaboration in the future. He also offered royal blessings on behalf of the royal father.
In response, representatives of Trophy Lager Beer thanked the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo and the entire community for accepting and supporting their brand. They pledged continued partnership and promised to always contribute positively to the growth and celebration of the town.
As part of activities lined up for the celebration, the company announced that a live viewing of the UEFA Champions League Final will be hosted on a giant screen at the Orimolusi Palace on May 30, 2026.
The sponsors also unveiled entertainment plans for the festival period, revealing that renowned Fuji musician Saheed Osupa will perform live during the Ojude Oba Orimolusi celebration, while popular Juju artiste Abbey Awesome will entertain guests live on Saturday.
Furthermore, Trophy Lager Beer disclosed that several games and fun-filled activities have already commenced at the palace premises following the installation of their stage setup. They called on all sons and daughters of Ijebu Igbo, as well as visitors, to come out and enjoy the exciting experiences prepared for the Ileya and Ojude Oba festivities from now until May 30, 2026.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were the Iyalaje of Ijebu Igbo, Chief Eunice Bamiro, the Secretary of the Regberegbe in Council, the Iya Egbe Oni Ponmo of Ijebu Igbo, and several other respected personalities from within and outside the community.
