Ponmo Motor Boy Driver Dies, Several Injured in Fatal Crash Along Ilishan Road

A fatal road accident occurred around midnight along the Ago Iwoye-Ilishan Road, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
The car, fully loaded with ponmo ijebu, left Ijebu Igbo and was heading to Lagos to sell there goods.
According to reports, two vehicles suspected to be transporting smuggled rice collided with a vehicle carrying ponmo to Lagos for sale.
The ponmo motor boy driver, identified as Abbey, reportedly died in the accident after the vehicle caught fire. He was said to have been burnt beyond recognition.
Several other people sustained injuries and were taken for medical attention.
The ponmo being transported to Lagos was also completely destroyed in the fire.
The incident has left residents and road users saddened, while further details about the accident are still emerging.
