The suspect who came from Ibadan for a three days revival was paraded by the Police Public Relation Officer, Funmi Odunlami, for raping a woman he claimed to be performing deliverance on.
The suspect, Festus James went to a church and introduced himself as a prophet. He said the Holy Spirit sent him down to the church to organize a revival at the church.
He approached the 22 year old woman the next day after the programme and told her to wait behind.
He claimed to have seen a vision concerning her that requires a special deliverance. The lady followed him to the mission house that was provided by the church and took advantage of her.
He claimed not to know what came over him, that the devil made him do it.
