Godwin Iroro, 34 years old has been arrested for raping his friend’s daughter in Ajegunle, Lagos.
The father of the victim, Chukwudi Chime, noticed the unusual movement of his daughter and confronted her. She revealed that his friend a Father of four, who lives in the same compound with them had carnal knowledge of her.
Investigations revealed that both men are not staying with their wives. The children of the suspect live with their mother in Delta State.
CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, while confirming the arrest said, the suspect has confessed to the allegation but blames it on the devil. According to the suspect, he had only done it twice with the victim before he ran out of luck.
He has since been transferred to the Gender Unit of the Police command for the next phase
