The Divisional Police Officer of Fugar, CSP Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq was kidnapped around Ise River a long old Auchi-Ekperi-Agenebode road in Edo State.
The police boss was traveling to Fugar from Agenebido with his orderly on Friday evening when they were attacked at Ekperi road.
The orderly escaped but the CSP was unlucky.
The kidnappers contacted the family and requested a ransom of #50million.
As at the time this report was filed, men of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime unit, Men of he Tactical and Srike teams of the state police command have been deployed to the area to rescue the DPO without a scratch.
