Tinubu
Public anger is growing on social media after a viral post reminded Bola Tinubu’s government of their excessive borrowing, wastage, and non-creation of jobs, and still demanding taxes from struggling citizens.
Chief Njoku, who posted the criticism on X, wrote that leaders “borrow loans, squander it, create no jobs for you, mess the economy up, inflate prices, and ask you to bring tax from the job you created for yourself so they can pay off the loan that was of no benefit to you.”
His statement has triggered hundreds of reactions from Nigerians who say Tinubu’s economic policies are pushing citizens into deeper hardship while offering no relief or accountability.
A user with the handle @v_ezeiyi said, “This is what everybody should be yelling about on all platforms, not these distractions about Sowore, VDM, tribalism, Reno, the albino and all what not.”
Another commenter @concreate_rose, wrote, “And yet the people still talking about 2027 election, instead of standing up against corruption and the corrupt government, they can’t reason, they still have a long way to go and they should be ready for the worst.”
