Sad Incident: SS2 Student of Beje Model Secondary School Loses Life in Ijebu-Igbo

A tragic incident this morning has reportedly claimed the life of a young student identified as David, an SS2 student of Beje Model Secondary School, along Atan Road, Oke Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo.
According to reports, 15 years old David allegedly went to school earlier today but was sent back home due to unpaid school fees. It was gathered that while returning home, he reportedly changed his mind and decided to go back to school, possibly to plead for permission to remain in class.
Also to the information currently circulating and reportedly confirmed, the outstanding school fee owed by the student was said to be just N1,000.
Reports further claim that David boarded a motorcycle alongside 2 other students who were also sent back home. While approaching the school premises, the motorcycle rider allegedly attempted to take the students away for suspected ritual purposes.
It was gathered that the incident reportedly happened in front of the school as David allegedly struggled with the bike rider while the motorcycle was still in motion. During the struggle, he reportedly fell from the motorcycle and sustained severe internal injuries, which caused him to lose consciousness.
Sadly, despite efforts to get him medical attention, he reportedly passed away.
The unfortunate incident has thrown the family into deep mourning, while anger reportedly erupted within the community. Some residents allegedly stormed the school in reaction to the development, while a teacher who reportedly tried to calm the situation was allegedly assaulted.
At the time of this report, many details surrounding the incident remain unconfirmed and the family of the deceased has reportedly reported the incident to the Ijebu-Igbo Area Command, while investigations are currently ongoing to uncover more details and determine the actual circumstances surrounding the incident.
