De Dynamos Club, Ijebu-Igbo, has marked its 4th anniversary with another remarkable display of love and service to humanity by distributing food items to over 2,500 people across the community.
The anniversary celebration was filled with joy, unity and a renewed commitment to helping those in need. As part of the outreach programme, the club distributed bags of rice, garri and cartons of Indomie noodles to residents across the five major quarters of Ijebu-Igbo includes Oke Sopen, Oke Agbo, Japara, Ojowo and Atikori.
Beneficiaries included elderly men and women, youths, widows and physically challenged persons. The club also extended its humanitarian support to people living with leprosy in the Erinwo area of Atikori, where bags of rice and cartons of noodles were donated to support their welfare.
Over the years, De Dynamos Club has distinguished itself through consistent humanitarian services, making it one of the few social clubs in Ijebu-Igbo known primarily for community development and charitable activities. The club’s programmes are funded and driven by the collective efforts and contributions of its members and supporters.
De Dynamos Club wishes to make it clear that its humanitarian activities are not politically sponsored or influenced. Its mission is solely focused on giving back to society, supporting the less privileged and promoting community development regardless of political affiliation.
Speaking during the celebration, the President of De Dynamos Club, Alhaji Yusuf Azeez Olaboye, expressed appreciation to all members, the Patron, Alhaji Ibrahim Ramon, the Matron, Alhaja Kareem Mosunmola and everyone who has contributed to the growth, unity and success of the club over the past four years.
The Vice President, Dynamos Adebowale Michael, also commended members for their dedication and unwavering support. He prayed for continued peace, unity and progress among members while reaffirming the club’s commitment to expanding its humanitarian projects.
Beyond food distribution, De Dynamos Club has continued to invest in education through its scholarship programme. The club provides financial support to deserving students from primary school level through secondary school and up to university level, helping many beneficiaries pursue their educational goals and build a brighter future.
The 4th anniversary celebration was not only a time of merriment but also a reflection of the club’s enduring commitment to humanity. Members pledged to continue touching lives and carrying out more impactful community projects in the years ahead.
